This sugar sound is so old now. It is the awkward teenage stage of popular music. I never liked the sunshine & rainbows jig sound which seems all around low effort and annoying. It makes me sad for popular music and causes confusion. Pandemics and wars and the songs are like they should have came out in 2017. Why all the sickly sweet totalitarian happiness? Looks like negative directional progression. Why does it sound like you are releasing material you recorded five years ago?
This music is behind in the times.

This album was well made and the lyrics covered the same general topic and the music was very well made it's just here and there the lyrics didn't exactly measure up with the song in the background. He kind of branched off into regular pop but would get very exotic in different songs which sounded cool but were a little too much here and there. Different from his other pop music but had the same general heartbreak topic overall. Better Than This and Stranger were well made. A teeny bit disappointed but had great producers and meaningful lyrics with very creative sounds and was well put together, great album 👍🏽
