  • Still sounding great

Love this album. Hearing The Who with an orchestra is fantastic. I know they are not The Who from our wondrous past - but who cares. We get it - it is not live at Leeds but it is still so much fun - sit back and the love of the WHO reign in.

I saw The Who in concert twice on this tour. The concerts were very good, The Who with the orchestra sounded incredible. With that said, another live album - why?

Listened to most of the album today. Thoroughly enjoyed. I like the addition of the orchestra and the band seems to feed off the that energy. Roger and Pete sound great. Recording quality is excellent.

Still as powerful as in their youth.

I bet they’re wishing they’d died before they got old

Yes, it's true that these songs have been released so many times that I actually threw away the cassettes. But even then, I was willing to give it a listen. What I heard was wshed out, no energy, pale imitations of the songs I knew that seemed to have been recorded in an empty aircraft hangar. Pass.
  • Oi.

The most important band in my life is reduced to rubble. They've released 95% of these songs on live albums and on "symphonic" albums over and over and over and over and over and over. Pete clearly can't or won't write anymore, so they're nothing more than a cover band now--covering the songs the actual Who originated more than a half century ago. It's depressing.
