I purchased this album and I also purchased the visual album on Jungle's website. I've been a fan for a while and I have read and reviewed from some fans who aren't as pleased with this album compared to the band's previous albums. And to that I say, "Oh well." This album still has glimpses of their older material, but I am a music fan who likes for my favorite artists to me true to themselves and explore. "Volcano" has elements of disco, house, electronica, pop, hip-hop, Latin and R&B. My favorite tracks are "Don't Play" (I love the video for this track as well), "Dominoes", "You Ain't No Celebrity", and the slow joint "Good at Breaking Hearts".

Ok, I get it, they need to evolve, but they’re going bass ackwards on this one. Autotune and racial slurs? So last decade .. and yes, a slur is a slur regardless of who’s saying it. Fortunately, there are several dance-inducing tracks featuring the Bee Gees-on-crack harmonies we have come to know and love. (Could we maybe get a non-autotune version of this??) And, for the first time, I had to delete one cringe-worthy track from the playlist (byee ct). Overall, not my favorite drop, hoping for better on the next one .. including more Bas, he sturdy.

Jungles always switching its line up around, and it seems like this time around it’s a lot more Josh Tom and Lydia, they’ve lost a few key pieces that made the record Forever special imo I think it’s important to try to enjoy each adaptation for what it is rather than compare. But I’d say a solid 3 this time around may change my mind when I hear the b cuts off the record.
