    As a child I listened to The Emotions and remember the feeling of hearing these incredible singing voices. I will always remember the lyrics and still dance to total exhaustion. I do thank Unsung for reminding me of this group, now I have my own copy.

    It's going on 15 years, and I still can't seem to "out-grow" music that I remember my parents listening to when I was a child. I know that this music doesn't belong to my generation, but it is IMPORTANT that I listen to it because it allows me to travel back in time and REVISIT the "good old days" of spending time with my mother when she was still living. I loved the "Emotions" when I was a little girl, I still love them now that I am a grown women, and I will always love them in the years to come !!

  • Good, but where is the "Flowers" LP?

    iTunes could make money off of listing, what many think is their best album, Flowers. I paid $50 for it on eBay and thought it was a bargain. I looked for 5 years to find it. They have two cuts from that recording "Flowers" & "Me for You" on this release. The Flowers album was produced and backed by EW&F who they shared talents with on Boogie Wonderland.

    What a GROUP!!! These sisters can SING!!! I love this cd...and I have to tell you, The Emotions sound as good today as they did then. They even have a new song out called, "It's Too Late" by Nikkole feat. The Emotions. You can check it out here at iTunes as well! The Emotions are back and sounding as good as ever on this one. Nikkole's cd is very HOT!!! I also heard that Nikkole and The Emotions might be doing some concerts together. I would love to see that show. I saw some footage from both Nikkole and The Emotions on YouTube and it was OUTSTANDING!!!
