Such a beautiful score. There are the drums which give us a sense of combat or tension and it fits the those scenes well but we can very clearly hear the tragic undertones in most of the songs that portray the significance of what the characters do in the movie. The soundtrack was created perfectly to suit the over theme of the movie. Well done!

Tan Dun made the perfect soundtrack to accompany a truly beautiful film. Without the music, the film would be missing one of its many important elements. Absolutely beautiful cinematography and a gorgeous soundtrack. The music just blends into the beautiful scenery and story of the movie. Even with this wonderful soundtrack muted, the movie would still be beautiful just to watch. :)
