It’s really hard for me to realize how the music has devolved into whatever it is today passing for it. Beck is phenomenal at his craft , and this was a time when Rod Stewart was cool before going completely commercial. He also played along with the Faces back then. Great album.

As the iTunes review states, this album featured members or future members of The Who, Led Zeppelin, The Stones, and Faces. What other album can say that, and at the same time include Jeff Beck in the picture? These big names aside, the music is simply fantastic. Beck is a master of his craft and ties the whole album together. Rod Stewart is at his best (and least pretentious) here, in my opinion at least. Great stuff.

one of the greatest guitar albums of the 60s..this album was recorded with an all star lineup. rod stewart is at his best here, jimmy page and jeff becks playing is phenomenal. ronnie wood and john paul jones play great bass, nicky hopkins is great on the piano, and keith moon..hes obv a great drummer so theres nothing to say really..shapes of things, becks bolero, and i aint superstitious are all great songs.

The remastered version is a much better value. I used to hear this album when working in a restaurant during high school. After hours, we'd retire to the upstairs bar, put on Beck & Stewart, and pour drinks for the staff. Never could find the music until now. Have not listened yet but still hear Jeff & Rod in my head from 37 years ago. A must have for all fans.
