I first found Chris on a compilation disc given to me to sample. I heard his sound cut through cleanly from the rest of the tracks. He is talented, in the moment, modern, and classic at the same time. This is my favorite of his albums. I leave this album playing, often for days, without changing albums. The perfect gift for those discovering jazz as well. This album is completely satisfying.

I left my CD player on repeat to the point of OCD on Indian Summer and am still not tired of it. What an amazing song.--the subtle, sensuous & perfect phrasing of notes. Thank you Chris for Bliss. This song is right up there with Take Five as a classic.

this is not to say that he is not a good artist, but i'm just not digging the smooth jazz. I'm much more attracted to livelier jazz such as wynton marsalis and cuban jazz. I'm really not a fan of the generic pop beats that were added. I feel it wouldn't be half bad if there were some earthier sounding beats... but no instead this album will lull me to sleep.

Indian Summer has to be, hands down, 1 of the best jazz songs of all time! I heard this song in Macy's about 3 years ago and wrecked my brain trying to figure out who it was. Smooth and sexy, like jazz should be.

Chris Botti is simply incredible. I didn't know it was possible to make music this good. I've been listening to him now for about a year and a half. I'd recommend this album, but every one of his albums are just as great. He has a way with music.Just buy his music. Period.

First heard Chris Botti while listening to Andre Bocelli- finally got around to exploring his library. Indian Summer did it for me. Brought back memories of a dinner in Denver, a night in Cairo and an afternoon in Rome. Amazing how music, especially well written, brilliantly played music, can transport you around the world with just a few notes....

This album is fantastic. I honestly never even liked jazz. I thought it was boring and for people over over 50...no offense to any 51 yr olds..please. But I wouldn't call Chris Botti's music Jazz, its something much much more special then that, its something unique that touches your soul when you listen to it. I had the honor and pleasure to seeing him live at Yoshi's in San Fran last year and it was the most amazing concert I have ever attended. I took my girlfriend and it it was the highlight of our trip, he sets the mood and the rest id history. I felt like I was not in the room when he was playing , it was really something else. He stuck after the show to sig autographs and take pics with the audience, a real class act. Im not writing this because I am secretly his manager or publicist but because its true. He has to be one of the gardest working musicians, just got to his website and check out all his tour dates, he just dosnt stop. Back to the cd, its great , what else can I say, if you need to relax after a long day at work this is the cd...I reccomend a Shiraz/Cab to go along with it..lol. Enjoy!!! I did. And thank you Chris for the wonderful music...your the man!

Like all his other albums, this one is a masterpiece of great smooth jazz. It is so relaxing and the sound is pure class as well. Chris Botti is definately pure smoothness and he plays with style! It makes traffic jams enjoyable!

You can call it lounge music for all I care. Absolutely revolutionary work on this one
