My favorite song by Ziggy is off this album. It's titled "Looking". "Looking" is probably my favorite feel-good song of all time. You have to get this song...the sound of the acoustic guitars, horns, the lyrics; all blend in such a way to take you away from whatever you're upset about (or if you just want to feel good). As for the rest of the album, it's also pretty solid.

If you are depressed, you won't be able to resist cheering up, and falling in love with this album. Ziggy without a doubt carries on the Marley legacy and has revolutionized the sound of reggae and is himself a shining star among a very bleak and cloudy sky of artistic talent and music in general. You won't regret purchasing this album, however you may find yourself disappointed that you hadn't discovered it sooner! The Music of Bob helped me tremendously in the past, and Ziggy is here to remind me and everyone that although the world is cruel and bizarre in many ways, there is an undying faith and struggle towards a future that is much brighter. The ten dollars is meaningless in comparison to the priceless and unquantifiable happiness and positive vibrations about to come your way...don't wait, get yours today.

You can not ask for more from this solo debut. While many may disagree, I thought this was by far the best of Ziggy. He truly carries on his father's legacy with a solid message of love, peace, understanding, and unity. Match the message with amazing compisition and masterful craftmanship and you have an instant classic. I might even take it a step further and say that this album is the best thing to come from a Marley since Robert Nesta joined Jah.

Great album. I found myself playing this soul-edifying album over and over every day during a dark year in my life. "Never Deny You", the Judas berating tune, is so blissfully sweet; "I Get Out", the strength-invoking tune to be oneself without apologies to even those closest to you; "Melancholy Mood", and "DYKL" are my personal favorites from this solid opus. Truely his best album!

Even though I just recently got intersted in reggae, I have heard most of the greats like Peter Tosh, Burning Spear, and Ziggy's dad,Bob Marley. I have heard all of Ziggy's albums so far and I have to say that this one is the best because it sound like true reggae in Ziggy's own style, not the American synthecized stuff that keeps appearing on his other albums. I highly recommend it for all new reggae fans and reggae purists.
