This guy is absolutely correct. Back in Boise Idaho they played Black on the radio 100.3 the X rocks and I was addicted at the age of 7 when I first heard this song and always remembered it.

For some down south, 'round the way type homeboys from the "A", you better believe their music will absolutely rock your face completely off your skull!! Oh, and to see them live, well let's just say you'll leave alot more enlightened than you would leaving a Limp Bisquick show. These are my favorite group of musicians, this is sevendust. Also reccomend their unplugged (well, semi-unplugged, lol) effort called Southside Doublewide recorded at the GA Theater in Athens, GA. This show was and always will be the best live performance I've ever seen.

I cannot speak for the rest of the cd. From the sound bits, it sounds pretty good. But Black is one of the best openers you will ever find. Everyone was talking about sevendust and disturbed at ozzfest, which should say something at least. At least give Black a look, if not, the rest of this album. I think it is solid.

Anyone who knows this band still listens to this music today - 15 years later. If you haven't been to see Lajon and the guys live, do yourself a favor and go. Each show I've been to, Lajon takes a few minutes to just sit and talk with the audience thanking them profusely, calling them family. Great guys, awesome music - even a decade and a half later.

Favorite album of all time. Hands down. Plus, these guys are some of the most genuine, down to earth, appreciative people you will ever meet.

This is easily one of the best bands out there and so underrated. Listen to Black and you will be a fan for life.

I remember when I bought this album back in the day. It was completely on a whim, I had a few extra bucks to spend, and this stuck out on the shelf to me. Had no clue about the band before it, never heard them before it. I was completely blown away when I got it home and stuck it in my CD player. I ended up completely wearing it and two more copies out over the years. Not a single song on here that isn't good, which is very rare for me to say. To this day Sevendust is still one of my favorite bands.

On some levels, i agree that dust deserves to make it big, because they definatly have got the talent to do so, but personally, i am glad they havn't made it big yet, because they will stay true to their real music, the kind we love, and not become sellouts like alot of these bands have
