This has been out for a while, but what a pleasure to see it in the iTunes library. It is shows Metheny's breadth, range, feelings, phrasings, amazingly creative use of his famous chord progressions, and of course beauty. Anyone who enjoys his other works must get this. Be aware that this album is wonderfully calm and peaceful. Although I love so many of Metheny's best works that build to a feverish crescendo, this is the other side of his genius. And a special prize goes to the person who can actually explain how he actually makes one guitar sound as rich and as full as this, please let me know!
