The Music on this album are lovely and beatiful but that's after listening to my Favorite song "Ivory" a bunch of times and May I just add that it is a sweet melody for anyone who's new New to Ray Lynch!! The Passion Song is also a interesting song to listen to with deep sounds. Ray Lynch's music has a way of capturing you into his music and never lets you go lol. It's very Deep and Invigorating, I just can't get enough of him!! I also enjoy "The Oh of Pleasure", "Celestial Soda Pop", "No Blue Thing", and Clouds Below Your Knees!!

'Nothing Above My Shoulders' is generally an album of moods, from the upbeat 'Over Easy' to the slightly mournful but reflective 'The Vanished Gardens of Cordoba'. A beautifully composed album easily suited for those quiet moments of introspection. 'Her Knees Deep in Your Mind' with its sublte meloncholy harmonies sinks deep into your heart as well. And in 'Mesquite', Mr. Lynch provides us with an additional boast to our senses. You can almost smell the aroma of sage in the air and coffee boiling on a campfire as you listen. A restful album to enjoy free from distractions. well worth adding to your collection.

You can hear Lynch's classical roots in this exceedingly passionate album. Every song is majestic, but my favorite is "Her Knees Deep in Your Mind", with it's depth of feeling and moving melodies. I also love his "Deep Breakfast" album, very different from this one, but vibrates with his distinctive musical style.

Ray Lynch's music manages to express the spaciousness of an opened mind and the sweet pain of one's heart cracking open. Let this exquisitely beautiful music wash over you. His arrangements combine the pure clarity of synth tones with the earthiness of classsical instrumentation in inspiring harmonies. I hope Ray realizes how grateful people are for his music.
