This is one of Sufjan’s greatest albums. Totally love how this album flows and gets deep into your head.

Redford is a cool song but all the keyboard clacking in the background is pretty distracting

Love this! I'm from Sault Ste Marie it's strange hearing someone sing a song about your town.

When it comes to Sufjan, I find that the more I dig the happier I become. This album is beautiful.

I will go to my grave claiming that (despite its generally positive reviews) this is an incredibly underrated album and one greatest achievements in folk history. I've been a Sufjan fan for about 5 years and was always sold out on Illinoise and, most recently, Age of Adz. However, after fully listening through this album.. it's safe to say that honesty and innocence has rarely sounded so profound, inventive and inspired. I'm currently listening to 'Romulus' and challenge anyone reading this to listen through it once and not "feel" it. You know, that feeling that music gives us when some truth is being spoken. I won't even begin to comment on how we've lost it. Listen to this album and regain a little lost innocence. Thanks, Sufjan!

Just wanted to alert everybody that The Upper Peninsula and Say Yes! To M!ch!gan are switched on iTunes right now; each is under the other's title. There's some kind of error.

4 and 5 are switched up. "Widows in Paradise" leads into "Say Yes! to Michigan", then to "Upper Peninsula". I believe iTunes owes me some free tunes ;) but Sufjan Stevens is my favorite artist ever, and Michigan is an amazing album. You can tell he clearly holds a lot of love for his homeland. Holland is one of the best love songs ever.
