i've seen these guys live 12 times since '78. from farewell to kings, (with bon scott and ac/dc as the opener) to their 30th anniversary tour in '04. they've never disappointed. what's best about their live shows is how true they are to the studio version of their songs. true, there's little variations here and there, but i like hearing every one of alex's guitar riffs, neil's drum work, or geddy's basslines and vocals the way i first came to enjoy it.
also, to kill a dead horse, WHEN ARE THESE GUYS GETTING INTO THE R&R HOF????????????

By far this has got to be the best Live album they've put together. With everything from Rush in Rio to Snakes and Arrows Live. All I can say is great job guys. Don't stop doing what you're doing now. I love your new music. Ignore all your supposed "true fans" and do what you're doing.

This cd is better than Retrospective 3 and other collections. This is Rush at their best (LIVE). The performances here are truly epic and inspired. The renditions of 2112, Subdivisions, Dreamline, Tom Sawyer and others blow away their studio counterparts and other versions found in other live albums.You simply must buy this album -even if you own all Rush cds. You won't regret it, this is a flawless Rush realese with 100% no skippable tracks. . The samples dont do justice to how good this is. Again, a MUST OWN cd.

I will never ever get tired of these guys! my 12th birthday was last friday and I got a tom for my drum set, then I noticed I had an extra 30 bucks.. and you know what I do.. I buy this album!! Rush, if your ever reading this, I love you guys... I have every single album by you guys!! you guys are the best. and probaly the best track on here is limelight, they always do best on it live! also when is the next world tour coming, I always wanted to go to a rush concert. that is my goal in life to go to a rush concert before i die!!!!! oh yeah, the album review. four words, BEST LIVE ALBUM EVER...

Rush has been around for decades, and still shows no sign of stopping. They also show no sign of a drop in their live ability, as evidenced by this album. If you're a casual Rush fan, you probably don't need this. But for the hardcore, follow-them-to-the-death fans, this is a perfect addition to your collection. My personal favorites: One Little Victory, Tom Sawyer, Working Man.
