I can't believe I have never heard this amazing human. I stumbled across him after doing some Jack White updating and Holy Jebus. Can't get enough.
  • Not all the songs are good.

Seasick Steve is great but not all the songs are great on this album the best, in my opinion, is the banjo song. I first heard the song on the movie jonah hex an i had to find who sang it. It makes me think of hard times my family had to go through farming an such. Great song.

I sample a lot of albums, and every once in a while come across one that just reaches out and grabs me. This is one of them. If you like trance blues, you will love this album. Seasick Steve is unique and so completely himself, that I don't think anyone could confuse him for any other performer. Great stuff, get the album and let it just take you along with it. You won't regret it.

No pop or that crappy music on the radio here. Just good ol' fashion blues.

Every single track is freaking awesome. No matter what genre of music you listen to, YOU GOT TO BUY THIS ALBUM. Best music in years. Makes me want to go and slide the hell out of my guitar :-)

This is my first review, so Steve you are the lucky recipient. This album is tops!!!!! Not many artists can convey their experiences in life the way you do. Vocals are up front and personable, almost numbing. If you're a R.L. Burnside or T-Model fan, then this is right up your alley. Money well spent!!!!!

Seasick Steve is totally unique; no one out there is doing this kind of stuff. Epic songs, amazing sound from those ramshackle guitars. You've got to buy this.
