I am a huge blues fanatic and I have to say this is my favorite blues record. This is 2 blues legends in their absolute prime with help from Clapton and J Geils. T- Bone Shuffle is Buddy's best playing ever, in my opinion. This is the best verion of Messin with the kid. There is not a bad song on this album!!!!!!!!! If you don't like this album you never need to bathe because you aint funky.

This is one of the truely great Chicago Blues albums. Best thing Buddy Guy and Junior Wells put out together. Man of Many Words, Come on in This House, Messin with the Kid and I Don't Know are all signature songs. Everyting else is great. Buy the whole thing, you won't regret it.

For Buddy Guy fans, you'll discover Junior Wells and vice versa. Both are great on this album (that I originally thought was 'Alone and Acoustic --another outstanding album with these two artists). I felt that this album dug deeper into the roots of blues, and these two together are as good as it gets.

Extremely good! Junior Wells plays the harmonica as well as Buddy plays the guitar. Two of the all-time greats at their insturments and craft.

Crank this one up. Two incredible bluesmen play off of each others strengths in a fine example of classic American music.
