A Great Collection

As a long-time fan of industrial music my tastes in industrial have tended more towards Ministry,
NIN, Front 242 and Front Line Assembly, but when I heard this KMFDM double-disc package was comming out
I just had to have it as it would give me the maximum amount of KMFDM with the smallest footprint on my I-pod.
I really bought this collection more for my brother who is a BIG KMFDM fan and he loves it and has listened to it
endlessly without any complaints. The re-mastered production is great (much more bass than in the originals and all of the tracks enjoy the same level of volume (the older tracks sound as good as the newer ones).
This collection is jammed packed with music maximizing the playing time of two standard CD's. My only complaint and its a small one, is that all (or almost all) of the songs are edits and so tend to be on the short side (between 3 to 4 minutes). I'm a fan of extended remixes, say Ministry's 12" remix of 'Just One Fix' and KMFDM has its share of such remixes, but they are not found in this collection.
Overall, this is a great collection of greatest hits by a a legendary industrial band and for the casual fan its probably the only KMFDM set you'll ever need.
