...look no further than Randy Rogers Band. These guys are the real deal. If they can keep their sound fresh and original, they will continue to be one of the best bands on the Texas music scene. If you are a fan of Pat Green's older stuff, Robert Earl Keen, or Reckless Kelly, then you HAVE to listen to Randy Rogers Band. Buy this album!!
  • Probably one of the finest albums in TX Music ever made...

Randy went more rock after this CD, but if you like traditional country, mixed with generation X, this album is for you. RRB stays true to their roots and influences in this CD. "Tommy Jackson" and "Reason to Stay" are classics, "Lost & Found" is a masterpiece. Randy told me one night in New Orleans that if someone like Tim McGraw recorded one of his songs, don't accuse him (Randy) of selling out. I would never do such a thing. Randy is truly one of the best songwriters around, and as long as people give him credit (especially for Kenny Chesney's recording of Randy's "Somebody Take Me Home" off the Rollercoaster album) I'm fine with that and I know Randy is as well.
