This is a nice project, talented family and the songs are well chosen and well produced. Great bizz strategy. Sorry haters, this is way beyond ya'll heads, sorry you don't get it, this is a soundtrack for the TV show with the same name...

I gave my rating 2 stars for the only 2 good songs on the album, Lifeguard, and I Don't Care, both by Brandy. Brandy is my favorite music artist of all time, and considering how many music genres I'm a fan of, that's quite a statement. I wish there were more songs of exclusively Brandy on the album. However, Ray J and Brandy have collaborated well together in the past (the songs that come to mind are Die Without You and When the War is Over), but Brandy and Ray J don't have any duets on this album. Unfortunately, the rest of the Norwood family lacks the depth of Brandy's musical talent. I'm looking forward to the debut of Brandy's next solo album. Hopefully it will come soon, since "A Family Business" is certainly a disappointment.

People people this is a family album not just some ordinary album some of you are missing the point of it. I love the album. The album gave each family member a chance to show there talent (whether u believe it's talent or not) and express the love they have for each other. Sy'rai has a beautiful voice. Very talented family!!! I am a huge Brandy fan and I hope she reads this lol and yes please hurry and come out with a new album lol I can't wait lol
