I remember when this came outfit was a week before my thirteenth birthday and as twelve year old this was worth saving the allowance to pick up,man all these years later and it's still a great album to travel back in time to,and to see people starting to by vinyl again is crazy,i'm glad I still have all those albums cause the prices are through the roof.Peace Hector V. I was 14 when this album hit. I haven’t stopped listening to it yet. It tapped into my soul and has been a part of my life ever since. To me this is the greatest album ever. That’s The Way Of The World...Greatest Song Ever Written!!!

The album review should mention that the single "That's the Way of the World" was one of their best known hits. It's one of EWF's best from the1970's when soul music from melodic artists such as Stevie Wonder, Curtis Mayfield, The Stylistics, and Aretha Franklin (just to name a few) could be enjoyed by all--music from the days before angry, hateful black rap.

Shining Star and That's the Way of the World are great songs but you get the full impact of EWF at their best when you listen to this album in its entirety. This album also captures the '70s for anyone who wants to relive those days.

This ALBUM is the go to for me when I listen to the amazing group and the amazing Maurice White and the spiritual being of this masterpiece. This album here is the first I thing I go to when I want to listen to EWF and the other albums was amazing too. This band is on of my all times favorite.

This level of songwriting sophistication and masterful arrangements doesn't exist anymore in pop music. EWF came into their own with this album and never looked back.
