    A song that captures the exuberance when the 14th Amendment is passed. The battle song the " Battle Cry of Freedom" is worth the price of this album. The meaning of the song AFTER the amendment was passed gives new meaning when the words are sung.

    Music is half of any given movie, so you need the right OST for it. This was amazing, the music and ending combined to make me cry. From the start you know Abraham Licoln dies, but it made me shed a good few tears because of the combined force of this music and the acting.

    I love John Williams, his movie scores take up 1/3 of my I-pod, I've seen him half a dozen times at concerts. I am not drinking the kool-aid on this album. The movie and the score were flat.

    While I was listening to this soundtrack. It reminded me of Saving Private Ryan. This truly demonstrates why John Williams is one of the best composers. He truly deserves the Oscar for this soundtrack.
