Great coherent, well-built album

This album will withstand the test of time. It's solidly written and displays growth (though from some of the other reviews, maybe not one universally accepted!). However, growth is necessary to every artist, and this album shows a lot of exploration that you can't find in previous albums.
The light has to shine on my favorite track from the album "I'm Not Your Hero". Whatever back story the song may have, it is just absolutely fantastic. I heard it one late night on tumblr years ago and took me forever to track it down. Great song that anchors a great album!

I wanted to give these ladies the recognition they deserve for making a FANTASTIC album. Many viewed "closer" as a pop song & criticized them for "selling out" .. The only thing that sold out were auditoriums & theatre's .. Every song on here is genius ; & I love the song "how come u don't want me now" - be sure to pick up all T&S remixes : from David Guetta to Morgan Page to Tiesto

I think this whole album is beyond any positive word there is to describe it. I really love this album as a whole. It makes you feel different emotions and can make you think about the past or even the future. I can't wait to hear their new album and many many more to come also. They are a really fantastic band and people.

While I haven’t heard their past work (so I cannot comment on their shift in style), I was really lucky to have heard the album right after it originally came out in January 2013. The entire album is full of excellent music, with “Drive Me Mild” and “I Was A Fool” being my two favorite tracks on the album.
Their work since this album has continued to be impressive, especially their collaboration with Night Terrors of 1927 last fall.

This album released in 2013 and I'm still listening to it in 2015. Every song blends in perfectly. This is Tegan and Sara's best work to date. Every song is great and catchy.
