One of the best albums I've heard in a long time. Hopefully it won't be too much longer before we get another effort from the terrific artist.

I’m so glad I stumbled upon this. We easily could have been beaten over the head by some marketer hocking “Hank Jr’s daughter.” Instead Holly stands alone as an incredible talent. I freaking love this album and take every chance I have to introduce it to friends. Nothing sneaky about it, this album is straight up contemporary traditional. Blending the best parts of both. Buy it, 100x over, buy it.

I've had this album for 3 years and it is still one of my most listened too. It isn't just 1 song either but the whole thing, cover to cover.
  • Wow. Great record!

If for no other reason but to listen to “Waiting on June” (Kleenex warning!) the album is worth it. “Drinkin’” is lyrically poetic. Buy this album. It is one of the best of last of the past 10 years.

Holly Williams pulls at the strings of your heart. You don’t have to be a country music lover to be drawn into her music, her voice, her words. Just listen…it’s pathos…it’s deep humanity…it’s compelling. She brings you dangerously close to your soul.
  • Why is it changed???

I purchased this album in April. I liked the original album I purchased. I guess she did some of new versions of the songs and they uploaded here. Not cool! I want what I originally paid for. The raw in the original versions...WAY BETTER! Seriously not happy.

This song gets me where it counts. A powerful voice with a smooth melody. The words give me chills!!!

Holly Williams, who has always been good, reaches a whole new level with this album. There is so much to like -- the authority & power of her vocals, the exquisite craftsmanship of the arrangements, the beautiful tones of the accompanying instruments, the poignant and sometimes eloquent songwriting (thank God - someone spared us the ham-handed hooks and gimmicks for once) -- that you will remember what great singer-songwriter albums are supposed to be like. Thank you, Holly, for sticking to your guns: for being a serious musician with something legit to offer; for doing your thing your way; and for making this record. May there be many, many more.

Her music is so well done. Lyrics and sound merge together to make music that you just put on repeat. This cd has not left my car stereo in over 6 months.
