  • Amazing- just TOO MUCH VOICE ALTERING!!!

I think Dido is the most amazing singer ever. I just wish there was less repetition- less altering of voice- less rap. I like her original voice way better, I don't understand why she would want to change such an amazing calming voice. It's still calming- AND quite catchy- just kind of annoying. My favorites are Girl Who Got Away, Love To Blame, End of Night, and Happy New Year. Although, her latest song NYC is better, just, once again, I don't like the voice altering. Maybe a bit of EP experiencing with fans will bring out some good hits. Still, Dido, you're my fave. ❤️

I could listen to End of Night over and over….just like many of her other songs. This album is up there with Life for Rent. Voice, music, lyrics…she’s got it all. Love you Dido. Thanks for bringing me to that place I often desire.

For those people saying Dido has not stuck to her roots...what exactly do you want? The same exact CD from years ago. Artists need to be allowed to grow and change, and Dido has done that perfectly throughout her music career. She has still stuck to her usual soft tones and ballads, but this time she adds a modern techno twist that really adds substance to the music. Dido is an artist that has never failed to deliver. She takes time composing her albums. While most have complained that they want the Dido of "White Flag" and "Here With Me" these people clearly don't know Dido well. Listen to this CD, and that old Dido is still there...however this time she has added a slight techno and modern twist. Think about it? If she kept producing music that sounded the same....the same people would be complaining about how she never was able to "grow out of her first success." Ultimately reviewers, Dido album delivers. Excellent job as always!

Dido has such am original style. Her voice is so pretty and calming. Her music will put you in some deep thought. I guess she thought twice before putting another song like "The Day Before the Day" on her new album. That song made a lot of people cry. Dido is one of my favorites!
