I’ve been a fan seen day two. And I’ve lied on day two. I’ve lied most of my life, but at least I have one, right? You decide...

Diane young is a good song. If you listen to it while on shrooms you will trip.

Not sure why people are raving about this album. I fell in love with their first two, and this one is quite a departure from that. These songs just lack a lot of the charm found in the band's early work. Obvious Bicycle, Unbelievers, Step, and Hannah Hunt are the only passable songs; everything else can go. If you dig the feel of their previous collections, this one will probably leave wishing for something more.

This is VW's best album, hands down. It's hard to listen to the other two albums after this one because the lyrics appear a bit childish in comparison. Modern Vampires is infinitely more mature, existential and profound. They haven't changed their sound and style, but they have definitely built on it. Two thumbs up!
