Although I don’t feel like this is their best album, the Newsboys still boast their creativity in this disco-themed album. There are some great songs on here, namely: “Beautiful Sound,” “Love Liberty Disco,” “Good Stuff,” “Break,” and “I Surrender All.” I do wish that Steve Taylor could have contributed to songwriting because I feel like the album could have turned out a lot better if he did.

I didn't appreciate this album when it first came out. Now I realize I was listening for the wrong things with the wrong ears. The title track has an important message for anyone who wants to follow Christ - "...there is a family, a body that moves as one." "Break" is about what should be happening as we we live in this list world - "Closer I get to You I see souls full of hurt, full of need, the closer I get I see less of me." "I Surrender All" is simply gorgeous both musically and lyrically. Give this album a try again or for the first time. You might be surprised by what you find.
