This is an excellent Telarc digital recording which part of a series that was done by Eric Kunzl and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra over several CD's preforming show tunes. I have this series and Vistory at Sea is the best of them.

From the great days of the Spanish armada naval victories have often changed the very course our political history. This album pays tribute to that legacy with excellent tracks that celebrate the brave sacrifice of sailors throughout our history.
The Songs of Sailor & Sea Suite 1-3 are my favorite tracks, but there are also excellent versions of Anchors Away and Eternal Father also known as the Navy Hymn. I love the excellent playing of the US Navy band and after listening to this album you are sure to love them as well.
If you want more great music try Music for Honors and Ceremonies by the US Navy Band and the 75th Anniversary Collection Vol 1 - 4. These are all great albums and you are sure to find music you'll love on one or all of them.

This isn't bad, in fact, it is really good. Now if only someone made a CD of the "songs", the Army song, the Air Force song, the Navy song, the Coast Guard song, and last but definately not least, the Marine Corps song.
