    Honestly, I gave this five stars because it contains some of the best music the 80's produced, but this isn't the best place to start with the Smiths. Start with Hatful of Hollow, The Queen Is Dead, and Louder Than Bombs, and then round out your introductory selections with this. It contains all the essential singles and some other decent tracks as well, though you will by now have noticed there is a ton of overlap in the songs that are on each album. That's alright, because if you truly enjoy the Smiths you won't mind hearing those songs as they are the creme de la creme of Smiths songs.
