If you are interested in choral music or sacred music from Russia and eastern Europe, this is a tremendous album. Excellent selection of pieces, tremendous performances. I recommend it very highly!

When I first became interested in Eastern Christianity, I bought an icon, and then bought this album. That night, I lit a candle in front of the icon (Our Lady of Perpetual Help), fired up some incense, and put this CD on. It's absolutely gorgeous, and I was blown away. Since then, I sadly lost the CD moving, and couldn't find it anywhere-- I've been checking to see if iTunes would get it, and you finally have. I've listened to the other Sacred Treasures compilations, but none of them hold a candle to this one. Thanks, iTunes!
