This is all golden, love it!

If you were looking for the catchy song "My Type" from the movie "Mr. Right," this is where you'll find it-- it is NOT on the soundtrack, which is a hybrid track/score but omitted this great song for whatever reason. However, BUY THE WHOLE ALBUM. This group has a sound that bounces around enjoyable genres in a way that redefines rock that is popular, without being "pop rock." There is an alt rock feel, without being droning at all. The hooks are melodic without being wrapped in bubble gum. Just like I was delighted with Geographer's "Lover's Game" that led to a fascination with the whole catalogue, this group is off to a great start for me as a new fan. With a glazing of The Killers and a petina of New Order, Saint Motel has an impelling name that hopefully will match it with future great works. Support the artist and buy the album, as always. Yes, we can download for free, but the cost is not having artists backed enough to make new works, and oftentimes we end up hearing a lackluster version when sacrificies of time, production, or band stresses intervene... and we can nip this in the bud by shelling out a relatively reasonable amount of money. Pick it up, play it, and watch heads turn as they ask (as in the Cusack "High Fidelity" movie shop: "Who is this? I love it!"

I absolutely LOVE every single one of Saint Motel's songs! I also really appreciate their input of jazz in their music!! Totally worth the buy!!
