Hawaii: Part II

I’m only going to mention my personal favorites (and Dream Sweet in sea Major): Introduction to Snow is a great opener. It should be longer though and is criminally short. Black rainbows is honestly surprisingly well made and is the only song on the album (in my opinion) that genuinely fits the title, “Hawaii Part 2”. It also should have been longer (time lengths for each song is probably my biggest nitpick of the album) The Mind electric is probably the most instrumentally strong song on the album, but it’s too LONG (the reverse of the song should have been it’s own track and not half of the song). Dream sweet in sea major drags on and sounds more like a build up rather then a finale. It should have swapped spots with the mind electric. Introduction to Snow: 8.5/10 Isle unto thyself: 6/10 Black rainbows: 9/10 White ball: 6/10 Murders: 3.2/10 (Space Station 7): 6.1/10 (it at least tried something new) The Mind Electric: 7.5/10 Labyrinth: 3.8/10 (doesn’t really fit on the album, but it’s so bad it’s good and more memorable then most of the album) Time Machine: 6.5/10 (Could’ve been good if it wasn’t so repetitive) Stranded Lullaby: 6/10 Dream Sweet in Sea Major: 25/100 I see why other people like this album, but I don’t really like it. It’s my opinion though, so it’s just what I think.

This is the greatest album to ever be released

god i love this album so much i can’t even begin to express it. ok i’ll start from the beginning: this is my favorite album of all time from anything ever made. no album has been able to top this for me. every single song is a banger (well time machine is kinda mid). the story, the flow, the motifs: i’ve been listening non-stop for a year. at this point it’s become kind of an addiction. sit down, open computer, turn on hawaii pt 2, continue activity. if you ever have 42 minutes left to live use it to listen to this album i swear it’ll change you.
