  • Why you buy albums

Each song blends so well together that to listen to them individualy is robbing yourself of an experience.
  • this album is Halestorm's "Swan Song"

this album is almost experimental, with songs all over the place. some songs have almost a pop influence (Scream, Unapologetic, Bad Girls World), some songs are slower/intimate (Dear Daughter, The Reckoning, What Sober Couldn't Say), and some really heavy stuff (I Am The Fire, Mayhem, Apocalyptic, I LIke It Heavy). but every single song on this album fits with each element represented perfectly. The music flows with the voice, the lyrical content hits the message, and there's enough difference to feed whatever sound you want to hear. in my opinion this is a perfect album and possibly Halestorm's greatest album they'll ever release. It's groovin', it's emotional, it delivers several different messages, and it is very UNAPOLOGETIC!!! very happy with this one.

I wasn't familiar with Halestorm, but I heard "I am the Fire" on the Wayward Sisters pilot, and I had to buy this!
  • Old Stuff is Better

Love Apocalyptic, Scream, The Reckoning, and What Sober Couldn't Say, but a lot of the rest seems super auto-tuned compared to earlier stuff. Honestly, I hate the new auto-tuned approach. This album isn't bad—Halestorm never comes out with bad songs—but I simply like the old stuff better.
  • This is awesome!

I love this album! At first I only had a few songs but yesterday I heard the rest of the album on iTunes! Definite recommendation! I love this album and the band! Keep rocking, Lzzy! Yes this album lacks power but it's still amazing!

Pure power. I'm obsessed with Lzzy Hale's voice. "I am the Fire" is the best track in my mind - play it loud in the car and feel the energy course through your veins, especially if you're a singer who can match her. Now if only we had it on vinyl with giant speakers so we can really hear the intricacies. Time to call up Dave Grohl!
  • I loved it

I think this album is very good. It seems to be getting some 3 star reviews. This album is definitely worth at least 4 stars in my opinion it deserves 5. The common complaint seems that it isn't "heavy" enough or it's not rock enough? Not every song can be metal, sometimes a story needs to have a softer melody. Lzzy and Halestorm, keep doing what you're doing. It's great!

I am an old lady who listens to almost anything. Haven't heard a set of pipes like that on a white girl in a long time.
