DUDE where did you get the load of crap that corey's wife died. You probably read one of the articles that was talking about how some DJ in Chicago made up a rumor that corey died and thought they were talking about scarlett. Him and Scarlett got a divorce because of Corey's drinking problem she didnt die but anyway amazing song off of arguably Slipknot's best album (either that or Iowa) and definitely worth the 1.99 im paying for it

This is an amazingly sad video and song. It's not what you would expect from the 'knot, but amazing nonetheless. And they aren't "selling out". Corey's wife freaking left him. (she didn't die -.-) This song (and Vermilion) is about it. If you don't like it, well, that's fine, but if you keep bombing it then that's just plain disrespectful. Now, I'm not saying I like this better than the other stuff, because I don't, but sheesh, show some respect.

This vid is a little on the slow side. Considering that the setting never changes and the song itself is slow. But overall, I would say its a good metaphor for real events, and events or feelings that the fans can relate to. And to the person who suggested that Corey started Slipknot because his wife died. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Corey didn't even start the band, Shawn did. Corey didn't even come till a few years after they had started in 97. And that was even before his wife died.
  • good song.

a lot of emotion in this song. but it took a while for it to grow on me but now i cant stop listening to it. i think it really brings out there wide understanding of music. i have HEARD that its about Corey Taylor's wife dieing. but i hav ALSO heard that she just divorced him, but eather way its a good, strong song.

His wife did NOT die. They just split up.And several songs from the Vol.3 album are not about his wife. If you actually read the lyrics from these songs you would know that. For example,if you have seen the video for Duality, the people in the video have headaches, its sort of the theme. So im guessing that you either just made that up or you got it off google and assumed it was correct. Only the songs vermillion and vermillion part 2 are about his wife, but she didnt die dude.
