Sara Bareilles is wearing a 👑 💍 on her finger, because the lyric indicates, "Let me hold your 👑, babe" before the song ends. My mom enjoys it very much.

This video showcases Sara’s UNSURPASSED SASS through her inspired facial expressions and body movements. At “You’ve got opinions, man!”, she throws a gorgeous, irreverent grin at the self-proclaimed, undeserving King, reprising that grin with a disingenuous expression of gratitude at “So let me thank for your time, And try not to waste any more of mine, And get out of here fast”. Ultimately, she ousts the King from his throne with the harsh reality, “I hate to break it to you babe, But I’m not drowning”. Upon ditching her unworthy coffee companion, Sara reveals her sexy black-and-white outfit, featuring thigh-high black shorts and a naughty black tie/suspenders combo, complementing her killer white smile and soft, pink cheeks under perfectly streaked dark brown eyebrows. All that mischievous head-shaking and shoulder-shrugging on the bus, with that tantalizing wavy hair in those hot suspenders, is guaranteed to make any driver crash! (That’s why she gets off the bus and then ties her hair back all prim and proper for the music store scene.) In the music store, with her hair up in a bun, Sara dangles a waist-length bronze necklace around her model neck, over a leaf-green blouse and dark flower skirt. This demure attire belies her unrestrained, free-spirited dance moves, as she “raises the roof” and grooves to her own Grammy-nominated number. In the “garden of sin”, our knees buckle watching her sashay, whip her skirt, and rock to the rhythm with those sensual hip shakes in an innocent (yeah, right!) white lace ballerina dress. This video further cements “King of Anything” as a rewatchable, relistenable pop classic worthy of a Grammy, sure to raise your spirits anytime and every time.
