Yes, I know this video is 5 years old but it is timeless. Sia is a national treasure and Maddie Z is such a gifted dancer who effortlessly brought all the emotions and the story in this haunting song to life so incredibly well. The song touched me deeply the first time I heard it. The first time I saw the video I teared up. It touches a very sensitive human chord-the despair we have all known at one time or another...kudos to the producer, director choreographer and the cinematographer...you all crafted an extraordinary piece of visual art. An instant classic. BTW- the best live performance of this was on “Ellen.” Maddy’s performance is just as mesmerizing, and Sia’s vocals are slightly different, (and I love it) but even more raw than the original....I’d love to have that particular vocal performance in my music library. I Think I actually like the Ellen version even more than the original. If you love this video...check it out. Makes you love this song even more...if that is even possible!
