This is one of the greatest bands I have ever heard. They matched the calibur of Band of Horses and wish they could have played more! Immediately came home and bought this album. Waiting to have these guys come back!

I can confidently say, The Shelters may be the best rock band out there bar none. They should be HUGE. Recommended without reservation.

Saw The Shelters open for The Dandy Warhols, they totally ROCK kicking true tunesmith sensibility that's unmatched with any of the new bands I've seen in the last 10 years. After the show I've been telling everyone to check them out you won't be disappointed. Not surprised to see them on national TV last week and it was a HOME RUN!

I saw The Shelters performance on Steven Colbert, they played Rebel Heart. I did some research, checked out their music and promptly downloaded this album. I was not disappointed, you won't be either.

Did not hear them live, like others. Just fabulous - contemporary themes, music is great rock and roll. Lyrics rock too…..

Most who buy this album probably saw The Shelters live like I did. There's a reason why their audience is giving all 5-star ratings so far.
Cool group, great sound, awesome live show. They managed to produce music that works in small clubs or big festivals without giving up their edge, being corny/fake. A debut album that gives a little hope to rock fans in 2016.
The Petty backstory is getting a lot of attention now, but I feel like he wouldn't have helped out to the extent he did if there wasn't serious talent here. Purists that discount them for getting Tom's keys are probably just curmudgeons and the band will win them over in time.
Keep an eye on this group and catch them live if you can
