While I will admit it’s a very good album it is way to mundane and repetitive. Barely a melody exists and the vocals are never established. It feels like if they recorded it a week later it would sound completely different because the jazz tone is so heavy on ad lib. This album left me listless and depressed. It was so hard to get through. My mind wondered off numerous times leaving me asking what did I miss. Not my cup of tea but there is talent here, I just feel it is talent with out structure

A silky-smooth R&B classic that should have generated 'Album of the Year' consideration. You play this CD over and over and you learn each song's lyrics.

Her songs flow like sweet honey. I prefer E.B. live, but this is still phenomenal work.
