Amazing follow up album to Middle of Nowhere which shows off the band’s versatility. Snowed In harnesses Hanson’s unique sound and delivers joy and good cheer during the holidays. “Rocking around the Christmas Tree” features Zac Hanson who can still deliver a voice that is straight out of a musical orphanage. Rumor has it that a CD copy of Snowed In was the only item stored in the glove box of the Tesla Roadster launched into outer space in 2018. Whether it is true or not, we know that Snowed In is out of this world. Some bands are never able to match the success of their first album, but I have a feeling that we haven’t heard the last of Hanson. Final thought: Hanson’s rise to fame took them out of Mall Tour/Event circuit around the time we started seeing cracks in the retail industry model. In an ironic twist, those same cracks might rob us of future Mall Skater Pop bands like Hanson. Effectively breaking the mold of themselves...whoa!
