After the Collapse EP, this is an immense disappointment. Buying an Aphex Twin album now is like Russian roulette. Will he actually challenge himself? Or is this nostalgic overpriced bird feed? Unfortunately for fans, this EP is the latter. I mean... was Drukqs the epoch?

Like the way the sound is going. A lot of BOC vibe and earlier RDJ work. Not epic but pleasant. Still growing on me. Buy it!

Warp needs money. I don’t think Richard had a say in this. It’s just demo sounding versions of songs on other albums. SLO Bird Whistle is the only song I hadn’t heard before and it is the worst most annoying Aphex twin song ever released.

Long-time Aphex Twin fan, and I pre-ordered this EP. Swing and a miss -- cannot hold a candle to RJ's previous, brilliant Collapse EP. Lots of uninspired loops and re-hashed sounds from old albums in here (which I expect in a Peel Session, but the energy lands flat). "Slo Bird Whistle" is just plain annoying.
