    The album is wonderful as is all of Vangelis’ music. But the tracks are supposed to seamlessly blend into each other. There are obvious ‘fraction of a second’ gaps between the tracks where you notice one track ending and the next picks up. I reported the problem but no solution was offered and instead was issued a refund. Think I’ll just buy the CD. Those slight cutouts really take away from the whole experience.

    What a pleasant surprise to have recently discovered yet another gem from Vangelis. Angela Gheorghiu is an ethereal, perfect addition.

    This album has already taken a journey in and out of the marketplace, supposedly preemptively released through one online music store (where I bought it), and quickly taken down. Speculation as to why filtered through the Vangelis fanbase... was he unhappy with parts and wanted to rerecord? Unhappy with the label for releasing it early? Obviously Vangelis has had a mostly 'hate/hate' relationship with the music industry, so it wouldn't surprise me if he decided to have it taken down. When would it finally be released? Different dates, even years, were thrown about. It's a relief to see it here at last, at least we now know a date. Presumably. Even though I've already bought it, I'll buy it again. The music is phenomenal, just as you'd expect. We can only hope for more!
