This album is listed on iTunes under "Pop," but that is absolutely not an accurate description. Her style is very difficult to classify--I wanna say jazz or soul? Definitely retro--but I've found that the best music resists comparison. Either way, I'm totally in love with her voice now. Excellent debut.

Shades of Adele and Amy Winehouse but Celeste is very much an original. There are several wonderful tracks with great hooks. This is one of the best albums of 2021 and I hope it receives all the accolades it deserves.
