I wrnt to a rick wakeman concert and he is amazing... I love how r can tell stories off the top of his head everytime i listen to the stories on this i laugh so hard... I got this album signed :)

The story of this album, as told by Wakeman, is that Wakeman found himself having to play a gig in a doomed theater. Wakeman always played this town when he toured England so the booking was automatic. When he got to the town he found that the theater was about to close and the show had not been promoted at all.
Despite the fact that under 80 tickets were sold, Rick decided the show must go on. Rick was digging for motivation to get through the performance in front of such a sparse crowd when he spied a West Highland Terrier named Oscar sitting in the front row. Oscar belonged to one of the theater employees. The presence of Oscar provided Rick with the inspiration to put on a unique show as Rick fed off the dog for between song banter and his choice of music to perform.
Fortunately, a quick thinking sound man popped in a mini-disc and recorded this special set allowing us all beyond the 80 odd people that were there to enjoy this special performance!

The genre says rock, but its all classical cept for a few songs, its pretty good, I like the album
