It's quite obvious to me here that everyone who reviewed this album poorly doesn't even know what reggae music is or they probably did not even listen to the album. Yes I admit that there is fusion and blending of different genres. However on songs which are for the most part not the reggae stylee you might be accustomed to, for instance on the track "Perfect Lover" Toots and The Maytals sing and perform with such a heart and soul that cannot be denied. Just listen to the upful lyrics and music on this album with an open heart and you will soon realize you are listening to some of the greatest, most seasoned musicians alive. Jah Bless.
  • This album should go under R&B not Reggae

This is by far the worst un-reggae album Toots ever came out. The only half way decent song on this album is higher ground. If someone can convince me this is a reggae album than I must be completely deaf. I am a huge Toots fan. I go to every concert venue when they come, but I am completely discusted.
  • where is the reggae?

If Toots is the "inventor" of reggae...I guess he is changing the sound to R&B?? It is a decent album with "catchy" songs, but I would not call it reggae at all. Where is the traditional beat? That's the Toots I like to listen to.

Bring back the old Toots, this album is too tame.#11'There is a reason',has a hint of the old style. He sounds as if he had one Spliiif too many.
