Do not listen to this album while driving... You may be in tears due to laughter and almost run off the road!

wow im officially done with this guy. loved his stuff till now. when i listen to comedy i like to actually hear jokes. Heck half the time the audience isnt even laughing. its just a bunch of political and religious crap, hes just pushing his own views and ideas on everyone else and if you dont like it apparently youre an idiot. It reminds me of bob saget cuz hes so over the top to make up for full house. and Cross is doing it cuz he was in Alvin.. Thanks for nothing would like my money back but mostly just wish i had that time of my life back that i lost..

This is David Cross at the top of his game. Some of David Cross' comedy is hit or miss, but this album is right on.

I'm a big fan, which makes the purchase less of a blow. For anyone familiar with his previous stand-up albums, this one comes across as a bit a dud. That's not to say it's bad, just hard not to make the comparison. I think the changed political climate might have something to do with it as the current administration (and everything around it) provides much less material than the last. All in all, I don't regret the purchase. Just be prepared not to be blown away.
  • Not that great

I think David Cross is hilarius but this album wasn't that great. A couple of the jokes made me laugh but overall it was kind of a let-down. If you want a good set of his look up some of his earlier stuff, like "Shut up you f-----g baby!," pretty sure iTunes has it.

OK, we get it, David! You're a liberal and an atheist. Great. The material on politics and religion barely qualifies as comedy. It's a rant, and that's about it. And, unless you're as narrow-minded as he is, you probably won't find it that funny. Most of his commentary falls in lock-step with every stereotype there is of religious people or of conservatives. At one point, he blasts CEO's. I'll never understand artists (comedians, musicians a la Rage Against the Machine, actors, etc) who rail against capitalism even though they have it to thank for their wealth and fame. It's truly perplexing. Maybe it's guilt. I vote it's ignorance. David Cross is a talented guy. It's too bad he wastes it on this lame-brained commentary. Unfortunately, in some circles - especially among hipsters and college students, he, Bill Maher, and Jon Stewart are considered intellectuals.
  • David Cross- A truly professional comedian

Another great album, enough said. Cross is smart, witty and seasoned. Buy this if you're intellectual and love to laugh. Anyone who gives this 1 star should go back to listening to Larry the Cable Guy and leaving the thinking to the rest of us.
