iTunes Session

I am in love with this band. Happened upon them accidentally - was listening to Mumford & Sons Pandora radio and they were in the mix. I think the first song I heard was Down in the Valley (still my favorite song), and that was it for me. Still, every time that song comes up on my iPod I almost stop what I'm doing and lose myself in the song. Now I have a live version! Give them a try - they are wonderful.

This is by far my favorite band ever. I adore how beautifully the music flows, and the lyrics speak to me on so many levels. Ultimate Head and the Heart fan girl over here!!! ❤❤❤😍😍😍💕💕💕

This song writing is something not heard so much nowadays. They got their own thing going, and it's brilliant. Everything from the harmonies, drums even the tambourine and shakers are amazing. This is def one of the top albums out to date. It's a very addictive album, you can't get enough of it. Whether you're alone driving to work in the morning to gigging with friends, there's never a wrong time to listen. I got the pleasure of hanging with the band after they sold out the Union Transfer in Philly. Like their music, they are all down to earth, amazing people. BUY THIS ALBUM!!!!!

I'm a self professed music junkie, spending every minute I can finding awesome new music. Out of all the great albums I've ever listened to. Theirs is by far my favorite, and the only one I will never get sick of hearing, no matter how many thousands of times I play it on loop. It's so rare to find a band that has such raw talent, and sounds even better live. They've truly touched my head and most of all my heart. If you love music, you will love them.

Every song on this album is simply wonderful! The instruments really compliment the vocals and make it upbeat without being too "in your face". The Head and the Heart sound even better in concert with music you hear in your head but hits you in your heart.

Once you've seen this band live the cd does not serve justice. This live session is a great way to re live those amazing experiences. This band is awesome and has so much talent!

I hope these guys...and girl, maintain their gift and as they succeed never forget the special sound they have brought . If you like folk/rock these guys are worth a try!

I found one of my new favorite bands through this I-Tunes Session. They are amazing, deep, and inescapably catchy! This album is a great take on some of their hits from their first album. Really worth purchasing as they are not just the same song rerecorded. Plus the new songs give great promise and hope for future awesome albums. The album description says it best: Magical!
