Yet another Classic

Ray of Light is Madonna's greatest album in my opinion, and Power of Good-Bye is yet another musically stunning classic. The visuals in the video are quite beautiful as well. Even if you're not a huge Madonna fan this is her greatest ballad in my opinion. It's a shame they don't really play it on the radio anymore like they do Live to Tell and Take a Bow.

This is another video from Madonna's "Golden Age of Music Videos"
Despite failing to chart as high as the two leading singles from this album.. The Power of Goodbye is one of her more visually stunning videos, as well as intellectually stimulating... Well, maybe intellectual is too strong of a word.. but for people like me.. I get it.
The video is inspired by "The Thomas Crown Affair" original with Faye Dunaway, Madonna obviously playing this character... and the infamous "Chess" Scene... Faye is eventually gilted in the end because she betrayed the one she loved, but she only regreted it when he was gone... You can see it in the video, and you can hear it in the words.
